About Liz Simpers
My name is Liz Simpers, and I believe that life's most joyous occasions happen in the midst of unexpected transition. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with people to solve problems, navigate these changes, and create opportunity.
Originally from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, I eventually found my home in Wake Forest, North Carolina, where I have dedicated much of my time to community involvement and public service. I am a proud graduate of North Carolina State University's School of Design.
My passion for serving others led me to become a Wake Forest Town Commissioner, in 2017 where I had the opportunity to represent my community and work on issues that impact the lives of local residents.
Over the years, I have joyfully volunteered on more than twelve community boards and organizations, supporting education, health and wellness, financial freedom, and workforce development.
Those who know me best would describe me as resilient, curious, and deeply committed to making a positive difference.
